Pete Gall is an author, speaker, and brand consultant who specializes in stories of desire and pain met by a delighting God who is more than willing to do the dirty work of love and restoration in a fallen world. Pulp theology is a concept taken from pulp fiction – the cheap novels people would take to the beach or on a train, spend a few hours with, and then throw away. The vast bulk of meaningful – in the sense that it is useful to ordinary living on an average day – theology works in a similar fashion. Most of the time the best theology comes in short, easy truths that guide a person in a given moment. Those quick truths are what the “fortune cookie” category is about.

The rest of the content on this site is intended to be helpful for a certain period of time – while a person is shaping a thought, making a choice, going through a season. But the stuff isn’t meant to last forever – it’s meant to be outgrown so that a person can learn to see something new.  The Bible works that way – Bible thumpers tend not to.

Anyway, that’s the idea.  This is a place for a few ideas, some starting points, a little comfort, and a reminder that God is alive and well and – whatever we may hear about the bad news of a fallen world, happy.
